Chef Prepared Frozen Meals - Cooking Instructions


Family Pies - Frozen:

Keep Pie frozen

Preheat oven to 170 degrees celcius

Remove pie from plastic packaging and place in oven

Cook for 90 minutes

Turn temperature up to 180 degrees in last ten minutes of cook

Remove carefully from oven and place on bench to rest for five minutes before slicing

Small Pies - Fresh:

Preheat oven to 170 degrees

Place pie in oven and cook for 15 minutes

Remove carefully from oven and place on bench to rest for five minutes before eating


Curries:

Thaw curry by either: leaving in fridge for 24 hours or by defrosting in microwave

Once the curry mixture is mostly liquid, heat your stovetop to high heat

Pour the curry into a pot and stir through regularly to ensure it is cooking evenly

If the curry is vegetable only it is ready to serve once the mixture comes to a boil

If the curry contains seafood, let is boil for approximately two minutes to ensure seafood items are cooked through

Serve and enjoy as is or pair with extra rice, vegetables or added proteins of your choice. 


Risottos:

Thaw risotto by either: leaving in fridge for 24 hours or by defrosting in microwave

Bring pan on stovetop to medium heat

Add risotto contents with 1 cup of water and stir through until water is fully absorbed and meal is hot

Serve and pair with a squeeze of fresh lemon


Pizzas:

Keep Frozen

Preheat oven to 170 degrees

Remove from packaging and place on a wire rack

Cook for fifteen minutes or until cheese is golden on top

Remove from oven and cut

Serve with a fresh garden salad


Chowders:

Thaw chowder by either: leaving in fridge for 24 hours or by defrosting in microwave

Bring pot on stovetop to medium heat

Pour chowder into pot and stir

Bring chowder to a boil and ensure all proteins and cooked through

Serve as is or with a buttered piece of sourdough toast
